Hi everyone!
I'm thrilled to announce that I am currently starting a new MOOC as a student. This one has to do with the main subject of this blog: education, and my thoughts on it.
The name of the module is very suggestive for all those who, like me, are music teachers. It's entitled The Place of Music in 21st Century Education.
However the title, the course is not focused on discussing the necessity of music in today's education. It is more oriented to considering how music education has to be in order to fulfill the necessities of the students. It deals with issues such as creativity, technology, innovation, pedagogical approaches... I think it is quite focused on technology, actually.
I am just starting the course, and I really think it can enrich me as a teacher and as a musician. I hope to broaden my tools and my perspectives on music education!
